DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS, UK

DESCRIPTION

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this is a hugely exciting role working in a cutting-edge sector of the med-tech space. We are looking to hire a Director of Operations to support Proximie’s expanding business across the UK and EMEA. The Director of Operations will lead the EMEA operations department including but not limited to the;

  • Implementation Team: Who delivers, connects, configure, and tests the necessary equipment to Proximie’s customers.
  • Technical Support Team: Who engages in support calls for troubleshooting the system & software issues as they arise.
  • Customer Success Team: Who supports live, clinical utilization of the Proximie platform in operating rooms, labs, training sessions, etc.

The EMEA operations department collaborates with the commercial team to deliver world-class services for Proximie’s expanding customers. The department also regularly interact with Product and Engineering Teams with feedback from customers whilst also ensuring service readiness for new product introductions.

REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Bachelors’ degree in technology, business, or relevant discipline required.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of operations management experience with a focus on customer experience.
  • Deep project management and organizational skills including workforce planning and scheduling.
  • Technical Acumen: Successful candidate should have a deep technical experience of supporting SaaS, Audio/Visual, Hardware, Networking.
  • Self-starter who is committed and comfortable in delivering results.
  • Knowledge and understanding of project management and workflow tools including JIRA, Service Now, or equivalent.
  • Start-up experience in the healthcare industry.
  • Customer-focused, business-oriented, able to exercise independent planning and judgment.
  • High ethical standards and an appreciation for customer needs.

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Medical device, MedTech, and Digital Health, Telehealth experience would be highly advantageous.
  • High emotional intelligence and an exceptional communicator with excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of project management and workflow tools including JIRA, Service Now, or equivalent.
  • Start-up experience in the healthcare industry.
