Proximie is on a mission to improve healthcare by transforming the world’s operating rooms into connected ecosystems of people, devices, and data.
We’ve built the only cloud OS for intelligent OR’s. Our technology empowers medtech companies and hospitals with real-time connectivity, unified data control, powerful development capabilities, and AI-enhanced insight.
With Proximie, medical devices and operating rooms are connected, smart, and secure. Information flows in and out of the OR in real time. Data is captured and structured to create a single source of truth. And insight into patterns and practices are discovered. It’s the most flexible, scalable, and secure platform to improve productivity and accelerate innovation in healthcare.
In 2016, Dr Nadine Hachach-Haram FRCS (Plast), BEM, drew on her surgical experiences and her passion for innovation and education to create Proximie.
I wanted to create a platform that extends the reach of a surgeon’s expertise. I envisioned an immersive experience that enables collaboration and digitizes a surgeon’s footprint to make their skills timeless. In effect, our platform would be a borderless operating room where surgeons can capture, share, and analyze life-saving knowledge, from anywhere.
We’re empowering medtech companies and hospital systems with technology that helps reduce variations in care, improve patient safety, and ultimately save lives.
We’re creating the platform to capture, store, and analyze the world’s surgical knowledge, so it’s accessible anywhere at the moment it’s needed.
We’re enabling patients to become essential partners in the journey to improve surgical care by upholding their trust and protecting their most sensitive information.
We’re empowering healthcare professionals to bravely embrace a mindset of transparency, dialogue, and continuous improvement.
As a practicing surgeon, Nadine witnessed firsthand, in both the developed and developing world, the considerable variation in clinical care which drives up cost and results in poor patient outcomes. Proximie was born out of a need, and her ambition as a surgeon was to find a solution and scale it using technology.
